Re: Band Camp

Band Camp will be August 8th-12th & August 15th-18th from 9:00-4:00 and August 23rd from 1:00-3:00. Lunch will be provided each day. Enclosed you will find an Emergency Medical Form, Band Conduct Code, and a Fee Chart of items that need to be paid and/or ordered. Please bring all completed for ms (with a check made out to KR Bands) to registration with you on the first day.

Special Note to ALL Rookies

(Incoming freshmen and any one else who has not been in the KRHS Marching Cougar Band before)

Mandatory Training Camp will be August 3rd, 4th & 5th from 9:00-4:00. Please br ing all completed forms (with a check made out to KR Bands) to registration with you on the first day.

Special Note to ALL Seniors

You are required to be at the Training Camp August 3rd-5th. (To help train the Rookies!!!!) Please bring all completed forms (with a check made out to KR Bands) to r egistr ation with you on the fir st day.

Special Note to ALL percussion players

1. Percussion Auditions/workshop will be August 3rd-5th from 9:00-4:00. (All percussion players are required to attend) Please bring all completed forms (with a check made out to KR Bands) to r egistr ation with you on the first day.

2. We will be having Percussion Sectionals every Monday Evening from June 13th-August 1st this summer. We strongly encourage every 9th-12th grade percussion player to attend these sectionals (we understand that there will be absences due to family vacations and obligations) Cost is $2 per night $16 Total.

We will be having a Band Parent meeting on Tuesday, August 2nd at 7:00 PM. (All parents are encouraged to attend.)

Once again we will be having a “Meet the Cougar Band Night” Cookout/fundraiser on Thursday, August 18th at 6:00 PM. We will perform our Pre-Game and Half Time shows following the Cookout.

We will be going to Cedar Point again this year on Friday, August 19th.

Once School begins, we will have rehearsal on Thursday nights at 6:00 PM.

Our 1st Game is at Northeastern on Friday, August 26th.
