Itinerary (Subject to Change)

Monday, December 28

8:00 pm               Charter coaches arrive for loading

8:30 pm               Leave Kenton Ridge High School via deluxe air conditioned motor coach with DVD.

                          (16 hours have been allotted for drive time plus 3 hours for fast food dinner, as well breaks.)

Tuesday, December 29

4:00 pm             Arrive in Tampa at your hotel to check in and freshen up for tonight's activities!

                             Doubletree Hotel - Tampa Airport Westshore (or similar - assigned by festival company)

5:30 pm             Leave for Tampa's Latin Quarter and Ybor City for shopping and dinner.

6:30 pm             Dinner to be Determined.

9:00 pm             Return to the hotel for the evening to enjoy pool and other hotel amenities.

                        1 Private Security Guard on duty - 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Wednesday, December 30

8:30 am              Breakfast buffet included at your hotel

9:30 am              Depart for the beach

10:30 am            Arrive at the North Beach at Fort DeSoto Park, named America's Best Beach of 2005!

12:00 pm            Enjoy your Beach-side Barbeque lunch!!!

2:30 pm              Return to your hotel to prepare for tonight's field show performance.

5:30-6:30 pm      National Outback Bowl Field Show Festival.

7:00 pm             Leave for John's Pass Village and Boardwalk.

8:00 pm              Enjoy dinner at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company.

9:30 pm             Transfer to your hotel for night and some time for swimming.

                        1 Private Security Guard on duty - 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Thursday, December 31

7:00 am              Breakfast buffet included at your hotel.

8:15 am              Depart for the rehearsal.

9:00 am              Massed Band and Auxiliary Unit Rehearsal.

12:30 pm             Depart for the hotel to freshen up for lunch and evening activities.

1:15 pm             Transfer to International Plaza and Bay Street for some shopping time and lunch on your own.

3:30 pm             Transfer to parade staging area in Ybor City.

4:00 pm             Parade Staging Time.

5:30 pm             Step-Off for the Teco Energy Outback Bowl Parade & Band Blast in conjunction with the

                        Outback Bowl festivities.  This parade and pep rally by the college marching bands and

                        cheerleaders, features floats and twenty marching bands, with over 50,000 spectators lining the

                        streets.

7:00 pm             Following parade, meet coaches at coach parking to change uniforms and load instruments before

                        departing for Busch Gardens!

7:30 pm             Arrive at Busch Garden Africa-Tampa!!  Hit loops going 60 mph on the Kumba, get soaked

                        on the Congo River Rapids, swoop straight down at a mind boggling 90 degrees on the "dive

                        coaster" Sheikra, or experience the mammoth Gwazi, the Southeast's largest and fastest double

                        wooden roller coaster!

                        A boxed dinner will be provided as you exit the motor coaches.

8:00 pm             National Outback Bowl Awards Ceremony!!!

                        Snack coupons will be provided for use in the park.

12:00 am           New Years Eve Extravaganza with fireworks and ball drop!

12:30 am           Return to your hotel via local motor coaches (due to driver hours).

                        1 Private Security Guard on duty - 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Friday, January 1

6:30 am              Breakfast buffet included at your hotel.

                        Check out of the hotel.

7:30 am              Walk across the street for rehearsal.

8:00 am              Final Massed Band Rehearsal.

9:30 am             Depart for the stadium.

9:45 am             Arrive at the new Raymond James Stadium, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the

                        University of South Florida Bulls.

                        $10.00 cash back included for lunch at the Stadium.

10:30 am            Outback Bowl Pre-game  begins.

11:00 am            Outback Bowl Kick-Off, traditionally a match-up of college football powerhouses from the Big

                        Ten and Southeastern Conferences.

12:30 pm           Outback Bowl Massed Band Half-Time Performance.  Perform in front of 65,000 spectators

                        and broadcast nationally on ESPN.

8:30 pm             Depart for home (16 hours have been allotted for drive time plus 3 hours for fast food dinner

                       and breakfast on your own, as well as breaks.)

Saturday, January 2

10:30 am           Arrive at Kenton Ridge High School.
